Application Integration Process

1.  Invoices are sent to Green & Company in paper and electronic email attachment format.
2.  A paper invoice is scanned to the Treeno Inbox. An email attached is dragged and dropped into Treeno.
3.  Green & Company Accounts Payable opens the accounting application to the vendor screen.
4.  Green & Company Accounts Payable clicks the Treeno Index button. The image of the invoice is now permanently linked to the vendor screen.
5.  In the future when there is a question concerning the invoice the Vendor screen is opened and one click of the Treeno Search button retrieves the invoice.

Treeno Web Services API is a SOAP-based software development kit that provides over 100 function calls to the Treeno Document Server. The API provides full product coverage, allowing developers to interface with file uploads and downloads, metadata, document security, searching, versioning, and workflow access. As part of this offering, Treeno provides SDK documentation, sample code, access to our developer’s forum, and test applications. Since Treeno’s SDK is provided as a SOAP API, it can be used with virtually any development language, including .NET, C#, Visual Basic, Java, PHP, and many more.

Treeno Legacy Integrator is a small .NET application that sits in the system tray and is designed to connect Treeno EDM to any Windows, web-based, or green screen line-of-business application (CRM, ERP, accounting system, etc.) With its simple XML-based configuration, the Legacy Integrator can be interfaced with almost any product in a matter of minutes. The configuration file is stored on the server, allowing any product changes to be deployed instantly.
